Can't you hear him in your sleep?

Day after day, this world, only smaller
It gets to be, so I will get closer
Than ever, to you, to touch you...
This distance between, the scattered miles
You'll watch them shrink whatsoever
Hail the peaks, and the plains and the waters
But I will be flying, to meet you, to touch you...
Sun or cloud, rain or snow, wind or tide
At your door, by your window, when fire is still lit
A wind of me will show up, brush past
Those careless freckles, below sleepy eyes
Of yours, to hum a song with you and the heartbeats.....
I will, then kiss you angel, that night, while you sleep
Like that charmer you just dreamt about, smiled to,
Because you know only smaller it can get
With every passing moment, this world, of ours.
