the ABC of love

As I sat thinking of u
Bright was the day,
brighter the thoughts.
Coz u were there
very near and really dear.
Delight in the air
moist with memories
Elevated spirits shining in you
shining in me.
Faith brimming in my love
and in yours as well
Gorgeous the moon is up there
and so are the stars too
Illuminating the night sky
and brightening my dreams.
Just for moments though we
stayed this close in life.
Kinda that joy not found
anywhere else on earth.

its all abt dreaming..

There is an island of agony
Surrounded by seas of solitude
And I lay on the sands
Building my own castles in air.
I got the floor tiled on my thoughts
And my sighs got the bricks baked
Rooms I furnished in a night’s time
And brought in a family in no time.
Then I watched my whims taking to flight
And the next day their crash-landing
My castle got under repair
And all moved away in despair.
Now I’ve got to demolish them
Sell the tiles, bricks and space
Once the heart’s command come
there the roof fall right down...

How He played with me………

I want to hear
The rain on my roof.
When I say this
I don’t dare to miss
The sunshine warming my back!
The heavy clothesline looks wearily at me
“Don’t worry” I soothe her
When the clothes too complain of dampness
I repeat the same hopeless this time.
My glance then turns to God Almighty
And then to the skies; expecting
Everything to be clear the next moment
But then,
The toads in my backyard
Croak in despair
I watch my town folks
They’re looking into the reservoirs.
All the same I lost my hopes.
The next minute Good God winked at me
It drizzled and paused;
Then drizzled and paused
I could hear my aching feet
Almost wailing to me.
And I looked at my Savior
He seemed to say
‘Oh I’s playing with you’………

When u leave...

When u leave, skies r fallin’
My daisies wither; they taste
my tears:
I struggle with my heavy eyelids
To stay them open-my hapless eyes
For they’ve to see u, my better part
leavin’

I still count the stars,
For they tell me but truth
That u will return after a sunrise
And u will see for urself how-
My heart dances with a thousand daisies…
